Your first visit to our Walnut Creek, CA, dental office is an important one. We take the time to do a thorough examination and find out what is really important to you, so that our doctors can make the best treatment recommendations for you. We reserve 1 hour with the doctor for all of our new patient examinations. At this appointment Drs. Kwon or Jabbour will recommend the appropriate type of dental cleaning for you, based upon the condition of your gums, and then schedule you with our expert hygienists for a following visit. Once you are an established patient, your future check up examinations will take place at the time of your dental cleaning appointments.
To maximize your appointment time with our doctors, bring your completed patient registrations forms along with your dental insurance card and a list of any medications that you are currently taking. If you are unable to complete your forms in advance, please plan to arrive 15 minutes before you appointment to complete them. Please alert our office if you have any medical conditions that may be of concern prior to your visit (i.e. diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves and joints, rheumatic fever, etc.) or if you are on any medications (i.e. heart medications, aspirin, anticoagulant therapy, etc.) or require medication prior to dental cleanings (i.e. antibiotics for pre-medication).
