Meet Our Team

I started in the dental field over a decade ago and have been with K&J since 2020. My favorite aspect of my job is working with the best doctors and staff, knowing as a team we help our patients achieve a healthy and beautiful smile. I also enjoy the continuous education provided to us to ensure the best patient experience.

I began my career as an RDA and have worked in many fields in dentistry during my 40 year career. It wasn’t until I started processing insurance and working with patients to reach their treatment goals that I found my passion. I am honored and proud to work with Dr. Kwon and Dr. Jabbour, who motivate me daily to strive for excellent patient care.

When I’m not in the office, I love spending time with my two cats watching Netflix but not as much as spending time with my family.

My position as the continuing care coordinator at K&J has been a positive experience. The satisfaction patients leave with showcases the quality of care our doctors and team provide. Dr. Kwon and Dr. Jabbour provide our staff with extensive training and opportunities to learn the latest technology and treatment for our patients. I enjoy learning about our patients' dental needs and being a part of their journey towards total wellness.

When I am not working I enjoy roasting & serving my coffee at my local farmers market. I also enjoy taking small vacations to the East Coast or Central America. 

My professional career started in 2007 as a Dental Hygienist. I have been fortunate to work for some great dentists that gave me opportunities to learn and grow in my field. Those learning opportunities included multiple courses about airway, mouth breathing, and how it effects over-all heath and development. Which then lead me to start my Myofuncationl Therapy career in 2018.

When I’m not at work, I love outdoor activities such as hiking and camping. I also enjoy traveling, experiencing different cultures and foods.

Started as a dental assistant in 1982. Later she continued her education in dental hygiene and graduated from Sacramento City College in 2007, then continued to get her Bachelor’s Degree from St. George University in 2009. Rachel loves her career and has enjoyed her journey in the dental field over the years. She considers her patients friends and makes every effort to see that you will have a positive dental experience.

She has nine precious Grandchildren and enjoys time traveling, anything out doors and mostly time with her family.

Started as an assistant in an Orthodontic office in 2005 and moved onto Dental Hygiene in 2012 where she’s enjoyed helping patients achieve a higher level of oral health and make the connection to systemic health. When Alicia is out of the office she enjoys outdoor activities, travel and spending time with her husband and dogs.

Enjoys connecting with patients and making their experience go as smooth as possible. Growing up with his entire family in the dental field, Jose took a quick interest in dentistry with nearly 15 years in the dental field in various specialties. He will make your visit in our office easy and comfortable. In his off days, Jose loves camping, hanging out with his wife, kids and his two huskies. Not to mention a huge 49ers and warriors fans.

Hi my name is Carolina and I’m a Registered Dental Assistant. I’ve been in the dentistry field for about 4 years. Along the way, I’ve learned how to help my patients with anxiety and build trust. That bond encourages our patients to continue making regular dental visits. I love and care about helping others, not only seeing my patients smile transform but to keep their smile healthy. When I’m not in the office I love to spend time with my daughter and family. I also like to collect shoes and playing tennis.

As an RDA with over a decade of experience my primary goal has always been to help deliver quality patient care and comfort. I’m passionate about helping educating others and value being a part of a team with similar mindset. My love and appreciation of constant learning in dentistry has extended into my personal life. When I’m not at the office, I enjoy cooking, spending time with family, live music, sewing, reading and video games but am always on the hunt to learn to a new skill.
